The use of essential oils with animals is well documented. Simple measures such as using several drops of lavender essential oil on their bedding for relaxation and calming is useful. You can also use an organic lavender hydrosol spray and spray the area. Take a 4-ounce bottle with a fine spray mister and add 20 drops of lavender essential oil into spring water is another alternative.
The use of an electric nebulizing diffuser comes in handy. You can diffuse lavender essential oil into the area and it will immediately calm down your pets. Run the diffuser for 10 minutes or less. Fleas will respond to tea tree and rose geranium essential oils. Add a few drops of essential oil to your pet's bath water. You can also spray on a mixture of these essential oils with water or spray organic rose geranium hydrosol directly onto their coat. They will smell so much nicer also.
You can wash their favorite blanket with a few drops of tea tree essential oil and lemon oil. This makes for a fresher blanket, which will be enjoyed by all.
